Plasticizer

Di Octyl Phthalate (DOP)

It is a colourless, viscous liquid commonly used as a plasticiser to enhance the flexibility and durability of polymers, particularly polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Industrially, DOP is produced by the esterification of phthalic anhydride with 2-ethylhexanol, resulting in a compound that is insoluble in water but soluble in oils and organic solvents. Its versatility and cost-effectiveness have made it one of the most widely utilised plasticisers in various applications.

DI-OCTYL MALEATE (DOM)

DOM (Dioctyl Maleate) Plasticiser is a speciality plasticiser commonly used in polymer and resin formulations.
It improves flexibility, softness, and processing performance in various plastic and rubber products.
DOM is widely used in adhesives, coatings, inks, and synthetic resins as a reactive plasticiser.
It also helps in enhancing compatibility and stability in polymer blends.
Due to its good solvency and low volatility, DOM is useful in applications requiring long-lasting plasticising effects.

DI-ISONONYL PHTHALATE (DINP)

DINP (Di-Isononyl Phthalate) is a widely used phthalate plasticiser in the plastics industry.
It is primarily used in PVC products, including cables, flooring, artificial leather, and coated fabrics.
DINP provides excellent flexibility, durability, and resistance to heat and ageing.
It has low volatility and good compatibility with PVC, making it suitable for long-lasting applications.
Due to its good performance and cost efficiency, DINP is widely used in construction and industrial plastic products.

Dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP)

DOTP (Dioctyl Terephthalate) Plasticiser is a non-phthalate plasticiser widely used in the plastics industry.
It is mainly used in the production of PVC products such as cables, flooring, synthetic leather, and films.
DOTP provides excellent flexibility, durability, and low volatility to polymer materials.
It is considered a safer and more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional phthalate plasticisers like DOP.
Due to its high thermal stability and good electrical insulation properties, DOTP is widely used in wire and cable applications.

DI-BUTYL PHTHALATE (DBP)

DBP (Dibutyl Phthalate) is a commonly used plasticiser in the plastics and polymer industry.
It is mainly used to improve the flexibility, softness, and workability of materials such as PVC and other resins.
DBP is widely used in adhesives, printing inks, coatings, and synthetic rubber applications.
It offers good compatibility with many polymers and improves processing performance during manufacturing.
DBP provides excellent plasticising efficiency and enhances the durability of finished products.
